The gold card is not the dearest
Three gold stars, yet a median of €6.00 against €9.50 for a one-star Illustration Rare. The symbol says how hard a card is to pull, not what buyers ask for it on Cardmarket.
Gold cards are numbered past the set's printed total; our guide to secret rares counts them set by set.
Reading the rarity on your card
The symbol sits at the bottom left, next to the card number. The table's Symbol column gives each rarity's; two cards with the same symbol can be far apart in price, hence the middle half.
