Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Manakodex is a price intelligence tool for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, available at manakodex.com. For any questions about how we handle your personal data, contact us at hello@manakodex.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data strictly necessary to operate the service:

  • Waitlist email addresses. If you submit your email address via the waitlist form, it is stored so we can notify you when access opens.
  • Account data. Authentication is handled by PropelAuth. When you create an account, PropelAuth collects your email address and manages your credentials. We receive an anonymised user identifier and your organisation metadata (a solo organisation created automatically on sign-up).
  • Anonymous usage analytics. We use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool that sets no cookies and does not track visitors across sites. Only aggregate metrics (page views, country, browser type) are recorded.

3. Why we process your data and the legal basis

Waitlist — Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@manakodex.com.

Account features — Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). This data is necessary to provide the features you have signed up for.

Aggregate analytics — Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Anonymous metrics allow us to improve the service without compromising your privacy.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties. Our processors are limited to:

  • PropelAuth — authentication and user account management.
  • Our hosting provider — application servers and database storage, located in Europe.

5. Your GDPR rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, restrict processing of, and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@manakodex.com with a description of your request. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (e.g. the ICO in the UK, the CNIL in France).

6. Data retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained until access opens or until you request deletion. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of account closure. Anonymous usage metrics have no defined retention period as they contain no personal data.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify account holders by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page is always current. Continued use of Manakodex after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
